Barnes Jewish Hospital MRI Replacement - Ben Hur Construction
Description
Hoisting of a 29,000 MRI in a tandem pick utilizing the 350 ton and 120 ton cranes. The biggest challenge on this lift was a lack of tailswing due to tight working conditions. In addition the MRI had to be hoisted to a skid, which was built on the roof, slid onto a gantry and rolled into position. |

Coverdell Elementary - C & R Mechanical
Description
A five (5) roof top unit (RTU) change out using the new GMK 4090 (90 ton) crane. The heaviest unit weighed 8,550 pounds and was placed at a 75 foot radius. The largest radius placed a 7,600 pound RTU at a 130 foot radius. |

Embassy Suites - General Sign Company
Description
Another tandem pick to put the finishing touches on the exterior of a new twelve story Embassy Suites hotel at the St. Charles Convention Center. The signs were placed on the skin of the building with the 120 ton crane, the 85 ton crane and a telehandler with a manbasket attached.

Edison Brothers Building, #1 Financial Plaza St. Louis, MO - Fabri-Tech Sheet metal
Description
350 ton crane hoist of 1500# panel tiles to a roof height of 232' with a 60' reach across the building and 85' setup distance to center of building. After 2 years in the making, the go ahead was finally given to replace the roof panels on the Edison Brothers Building . Fabri-Tech Sheet Metal engineered and constructed the panels and also the picking devices so that the panels would pick in the same way that they were going to be set on the roof. Assembly of the 350 ton crane (Main boom, 167' of jib & 79,000# of counterweight) completed in under 2 ½ hours. |
